I wanted to include this Carlos Cruz-Diez in my exhibition context because his set up at the Sicardi Gallery has similarities with what I am imagining my set up to be like. I want it to look professional, elongated and colourful. His artwork is brightly coloured and when it is shown against a clean white wall it brings out colours and makes it look fresh. His style includes linear formations all around the artwork, juxtaposed horizontal and vertical lines. Highlighted with bold colours like blues and greens which look great against the white wall. This exhibition set up also has lights from within the board which lights up the artwork itself. I would not want to pursue this as I think it is unnecessary when the work itself is that vibrant.
