Darol Montag

Dynamic Equilibrium catalog.indd

These photographs taken from microscopic organisms left in the dirt then taken back show a burst of vibrancy, the circular form from the microscope is effective against the black background. I love the dabs of colour and the bold but subtle bright colours against the broken shades of dark has an powerful effect in terms of contrast. The below image intrigues me, I find the reds are dark and passionate and the circular effect, although it be not as geometric as the above image, symbolises to me an ongoing infinity of colour.
